External Teachers and Coaches

Matt Pearce (PE Teacher and After School Club)

Matt joins us from Inspire sports and has been coaching sport for 19 years. He started his career at Wycombe Wanderers FC with a coaching apprenticeship and working as part of their community team. He has coaching badges in football, multi-skills and cricket and has worked in various schools delivering the PE curriculum, drawing upon his own coaching experience and through the scheme ‘Real PE’.

Matt has taken teams to various tournaments, including county and regional tournaments. He has coached teams to win the Manor Cup multiple times and one of his proudest achievements was coaching a team which reached the national final of the EFL Kids Cup, which was played at Wembley Stadium. 

Matt teaches PE lessons in school, and supports After School Club on Mondays and Thursdays.

Tom Sykes (After School Football Club)

Tom works closely with Oxford United Football Club and has many years experience in football coaching.

Vicki Coyle (After School Netball Club)

Vicki is a Netball Development Officer for Buckinghamshire and provides coaching on behalf of Nettie Netball. 

Madame Prevost (After School French Club)

Madame Prevost is a French National and has young children of her own. She joined LCF (Le club francais) in 2015 and loves seeing the children enjoying and speaking her native language. She now leads nine in-school and one online French clubs for children from reception to year six.

Abbie Adiri (Violin Music Teacher)

Abbie joins us from Musicland.

Abbie is passionate about passing on her joy in music making to children. After studying music at Kings College London, and experiencing freelance orchestral playing throughout London, and much further afield, she decided to focus her attention on string, and chamber music tuition, where her true passion lies.

Abbie has taught in the Berkshire, Bath and Gloucester County music systems, and also in the private sector at Maltmans Green prep school. The Latymer School, The Kings School, Gloucester and at Cokethorpe School in Witney. Alongside this, Abbie found her way back to Musiclands base by teaching violin at the Gloucester Academy of Music (GAM) and tutoring on their Easter and Summer school courses.

Corinne Miley-Smith (Piano Teacher)

Corinne teaches piano, cello, and singing by day at home and in schools and plays cello with Oxford Symphony Orchestra.

She is involved in many community musical and theatrical productions.

Corinne teaches piano in school every Thursday.

James Smyth (Rock Steady)

James is our new Band Leader. 

The favourite part of Rocksteady are the concerts. The children put on a great show every time. Parents are so proud to see what their children have achieved during the term. James also finds it incredibly rewarding watching the children grow in both confidence and ability each time they perform. 

James runs rock steady sessions in school every Friday morning. Please see the attached letter for more information.
